The California Waste Association consists of five local chapters that hold regular luncheon and dinner meetings devoted to hot topics in the industry. These meetings often feature speakers from the high ranks of state agencies. The Association holds special seminars throughout the year. These mini-courses assist your employees in understanding the requirements of Manifesting, Air Quality regulation and more.

Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant Tour
Members recently toured the Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant, getting a behind-the-scenes look at large-scale treatment operations, solids management, and regulatory compliance relevant to the waste industry. The program wrapped up with lunch and a special presentation by Andre Villasenor (U.S. EPA), “EPA Resources on the Management of Hazardous, Universal, and Solid Waste.”
